Sisters Brooke and Grace show their support for our NHS with colourful display

Brooke and Grace Best picked up their chalks and covered their garden in Stanley with messages of thanks and support.
Mum, Michelle Smith, said: "I was explaining to them why it's so important to stay at home as this nasty virus is making a lot of people poorly.

Hide Ad"We did some school work and, to get some fresh air, decided to colour in our garden path, asking everyone to stay safe at home.
"We also wanted to say thank you to the NHS too so we just carried on colouring!"
Michelle said Brooke, 11, and Grace, nine, are missing their grandparents, especially as their grandad is currently undergoing treatment for lung and brain cancer, putting him at high risk.
"They want to keep him safe," Michelle said. "They miss and love him so much and are looking forward to seeing their grandma and grandad when this has all passed."

Hide AdPosting the pictures on Facebook, the girls have recieved nothing but praise for their kindhearted artwork.
Monica Ross said: "I think these two little girls deserve a little mention. They’ve spent three hours decorating their garden and walls."
Kat Bennett said: "Well done Brooke and Grace! You’ve both worked really hard."
