It also saw Matt reach number 2 in the iTunes Global Country Charts and 61 in the Global iTunes charts.
Matt’s goals for ‘Forever With You’ differ from his previous hit.
Matt said: “I wrote ‘Forever With You’ originally when I was 17 years old, but I’d never got to the point of recording it.

“It’s a sort of a typical love song, my goal is to have a couple use it as their first dance at their wedding.
“It seems like a weird thing to want, but I would love to perform it live on someone’s special day.”
‘Forever With You’ is the product of a 6 week process, from Matt perfecting the song technically to it being released on a variety of streaming platforms, including Spotify.

“This year has already been insane, but I’ve got big plans to bring more stuff out in the new year.
“I’ll be releasing two more singles, one around February or March time and the second in April, before releasing my album in May.
“I’m also wanting to do a tour across Ireland and the UK around August time.

"When the pandemic hit, it all came to a stop.
“But also it’s nice to feel like a recording artist, with singles like ‘Forever With You’ being released and my upcoming album.
“It’s amazing to be referred to by people in industry as an actual recording artist.”
