Wakefield Hospice and Wakefield Street Kitchen receive generous donations from Jack's supermarket
and live on Freeview channel 276
Jack's Supermarket in Wakefield kindly donated toiletry products including shower gel, bath soak, shampoo, conditioner and lotion to Wakefield Hospice and long-life foods to Wakefield Street Kitchen.
Wakefield Hospice is committed to providing the highest level of symptom management for people who have advanced active, progressive and life-threatening illness in the Wakefield area.

Hide AdThe hospice often provides toiletries to patients and families staying over, who may have forgotten items.
Wakefield Street Kitchen is a community-based kitchen, offering hot meals, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, as well as clothing, toiletries and books to anyone in need. It is based outside the Wakefield Cathedral every Wednesday from 6pm.
The donation from Jack's will help both organisations to continue their selfless work helping the people of Wakefield.
Michael Ward, Store Manager of Jack's Wakefield, said: "Everyone at Jack's is always looking for new ways to give back to the local community. Wakefield Hospice and Wakefield Street Kitchen have been working so hard throughout the pandemic and we're very happy to help in any way we can."
