Bobbie Boardman and Rachel Thompson, who run the Miss Unique Majorettes troupe, usually train at Crigglestone WMC in preperation for local competitions and galas, however due to the coronavirus crisis, they've had to suspend training - but they haven't stopped dancing completely.

Members, girls and boys aged from three upwards, are taking part in a #PassTheBaton challenge with other troupes,

Bobbie said: "As you can imagine, at the moment we've had to cancel all training sessions and events we had planned.

"So to keep everyone's spirits up, we've been taking part in a #PassTheBaton challenge.

"We've done a dancer video as well as a parent video, of all members dancing alone at home, then putting the videos together it's just like they are passing the baton."

Bobbie said she and Rachel came across a video on social media, which inspired them to give it a go, then nominating other troupes to join in.

"We are both so proud of all the members at this difficult time and we can't wait to be back dancing with our dance family."
