It was fun in the sun last weekend as thousands of people enjoyed Farmer Copley's Farm festival.

The festival, now in its ninth year, drew more than 7,000 visitors to Ravensknowle Farm on Sunday to be entertained by sheep shearing, a dog show, vintage tractors, craft stalls and a fancy dress parade.

The festival saw a new record set this year when the champion of pie eating contest, Tom Howson, also won the welly wanging competition, breaking records by throwing his boot further than the farm staff were able to measure.
