The park would be built on land just off Park Lane, close to the A63 Selby by-pass.

And it could include industrial units, warehouses, offices, shops, restaurants, cafes and showrooms.

Shaun Hunt, vice chairman of Hunt Group Limited, commented: “HG Holdings is delighted to be working with Priority Space to deliver this much needed work and retail space at this significant regeneration site. The scheme design is quite unusual for industrial accommodation, combining natural rustic materials with a modern contemporary style that is likely to appeal to the more discerning small business owner occupiers and private investors.”

Adam Richardson, of Priority Space, said: “It is quite rare to find speculatively built units of this size for sale in Yorkshire, let alone this close to Leeds and thus the scheme presents an ideal opportunity for businesses looking to make important decisions, with many businesses already considering acquiring these units through their pension funds. Kiln Park will allow new and existing businesses to expand, helping to provide further employment in the area.”

The scheme is part of the Millenium Village development which has seen 520 new homes built on the site of the village’s former colliery.
