Police appeal for information after man in 70s seriously injured in Fairburn collision

A man in his 70s has been seriously injured after a collision on a road in Fairburn.

Police are appealing for information on the collision, which took place at about 5.15pm on Saturday, April 24.

It happened when a black, vintage motorcycle collided with a parked vehicle while travelling along Back Newton Lane, Fairburn.

The rider of the bike, a man in his 70s, was seriously injured in the collision.

Anyone with information on the collision, or the movements of the motorcycle prior to the incident, is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, referencing log 1345 of April 24.
