Police called after snake found in Stanley allotment
Police were called to a Stanley allotment after a wild snake was spotted.
PC Dayne Ratcliffe and PC Alex Potter, from Wakefield north west neighbourhood police team (NPT), attended at the allotment and safely caught the grass snake.
PC Ratcliffe, who has a personal interest in snakes, later released the animal back into the wild.
