Officers from Operation Matrix - West Yorkshire Police’s specialist off-road motorbike team - seized the bike from its owner after it was seen being ridden across the fields last week.

The seizure is part of a clampdown by police after a large amount of complaints about youths riding vehicles irresponsibly across the district.

Acting Insp March Chamberlain, of Wakefield Central neighbourhood police team, asked anyone with any information about off-road motorbikes to contact police on 101.
