Police seize £10,000 drugs haul from Wakefield house

Police seized drugs worth £10,000 from a house in Wakefield today.

Officers from Wakefield Central Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), Wakefield North West NPT and a specialist drugs officer from Wakefield CID executed a drugs warrant in the College Grove area of the city.

Class A and Class B drugs, with an estimated street value of around £10,000 were seized along with a large quantity of cash and other assets.

Officers said the owner of the property is now being dealt with in relation to a number of offences.
