Cityfields developer Redrow Homes wants to start weekday work on site at 7.30am
Redrow Homes are one of several firms putting up houses on the new Cityfields development, off Wakefield's eastern relief road, near Pinderfields Hospital.
Conditions imposed by Wakefield Council currently stop Redrow from carrying out construction work before 8am on weekdays and 8.30am on Saturdays.

Redrow has now asked for permission to start work at 7.30am on weekdays and 8am on Saturdays, though they've yet to specify why they would like to do so.
The company had been allowed to start work earlier than that when carrying out work on the relief road itself, which is now close to finishing.
On an application form submitted to the council last week, Redrow said: "Following completion of the works to the Wakefield Eastern Relief Road we would like like to amend our working hours by 30mins each day Monday to Saturday."
The proposal is likely to be considered later this year.

That led to Wakefield Council serving them with an enforcement notice after the local authority said several informal warnings had been ignored.
