After a strong display brought them their first victory of the new season last time out Castleford Tigers have named an unchanged squad for tomorrow night’s game at Hull FC.

Head coach Daryl Powell has no new injury worries to contend with, but his side will still be without backs Michael Shenton and Ash Robson, who are long term absentees and back rower Frankie Mariano, who is on the comeback trail but not ready yet.

“We are looking okay,” said Powell.

“We looked pretty good last time out and the squad is the same. Whether I tweak a few things in it we will see, but I am not going to change too much.

“We know we are going to be challenged at Hull, but the boys are raring to go and they looked really sharp in training.”

Powell is looking for centre Ben Crooks to have a good game on his first return to his former home ground, but does not want him to get carried away by the occasion.

He said: “Ben Crooks has played a couple of games now and he’s slotted in pretty well.

“This is an important game for him, but I wouldn’t want him to get too hyped up about it.

“He needs to play within the team structure and just do his job. I’m not looking for any-thing other than that really.”
