Power cut affects 1,500 properties in Pontefract
A power cut has led to more than 1,500 properties in Pontefract being without power today (Friday).
A Northern Powergrid spokesman said 1,544 customers in the town had no power due to a fault at around 10.45am this morning.
He added: “Supplies were restored to all but seven customers at 12:20pm and we hope to have the remainder restored at 1.30pm.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers.”
