Featherstone Rovers will be without Will Milner for Sunday’s Kingstone Press Championship game at Oldham but they hope Danny Craven will be back.

Milner will be out for two to three weeks after he sustained an ankle injury in last weekend’s game against Leigh which Craven missed on medical grounds after being concussed at Batley the previous week.

Rovers coach Jon Sharp said: “Hopefully, we’ll get Craven back this week.

“It was taken out of our hands last weekend.

“They made a decision he wasn’t fit which is fair enough.”

Sharp will have a late check on Steve Snitch who hasn’t played this season following knee surgery.

“Snitch is close to returning. He’s started running again with the team. It will be a late call on him - we’ll see how he pulls up in training this week,” said Sharp who also hopes to welcome back Kyle Briggs and Colton Roche in the near future.

He said: “I think Briggs is about three weeks away and Colton Roche may be a week away.”
