SLIDESHOW: Business lunch is a record breaker

A record-breaking £28,000 was raised by members of the business community to support young people in the region.

More than 340 business leaders and guests including Lord St Oswald, Sir Rodney Walker and Wakefield MP Mary Creagh showed their support at the Wakefield Annual Charity Christmas Lunch (WACCL).

The sold-out event, which featured a three course meal, musical performances and a charity auction, supported Theatre Royal Wakefield’s Performance Academy and MY Burns Club.
