SLIDESHOW: Featherstone Town Council leader gets a soaking
Featherstone councillor Graham Isherwood took a soaking on his way to raising hundreds of pounds by taking part in the ice bucket challenge.
Coun Isherwood bravely let youngsters at North Featherstone Junior and Infant School drench him last Thursday.
The Featherstone Town Council leader took part in the challenge to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support after being nominated by Wakefield Council leader Peter Box.

Hide AdCoun Isherwood said: “It was brilliant. It was very cold but most of my colleagues on the district council have contributed and it’s just a bit of fun for a good cause.
“I think I raised about £200 and that’s what it’s all about at the end of the day.”
