Suspected car thieves crashed into ditch trying to escape police
Three suspected car thieves had to be taken to hospital after crashing into a ditch while trying to escape arrest.
A Land Rover Defender, which was reported stolen from a property in Castleford on Sunday, September 5 was seen by officers in the town.
The car then sped into fields but was followed by the police helicopter and crashed into a ditch in Robin Hood, Leeds.
Three men who were in the vehicle were arrested and taken to hospital.
