A teaching assistant was left speechless when pupils surprised her with presents to mark her 20th year at the school.
Julie Cauldwell celebrated two decades working at Fairburn Community Primary School before half term.
The school held a special assembly in honour of Mrs Cauldwell and the pupils gave her with flowers, a bottle of champagne and a surprise present.
Mrs Cauldwell worked as a caretaker for 15 years, becoming a teaching assistant.
She also helped out as a supervisor at the school.
Mrs Cauldwell said: “I was very shocked as I was just treating it like any other day.
“It is a lovely school and I really enjoy working here. I hope to be here for a long time to come.”
To celebrate the occasion, she went out for lunch and did a spot of shopping.
Headteacher Emma Cornhill said: “To reach 20 years of service is such an achievement.
“Julie is so dedicated and she puts her all into everything. She really is a pleasure to work with.”
