Summer play scheme from 9.30am until 3.30pm every week day at SESKU Academy, Burntwood Community Centre, South Kirkby (children aged eight to 13)

1914 style Scout Camp from 11am until 4pm at Nostell Priory

Speed drawing from 11am until 4pm at The Hepworth Wakefield

Make bunting and musical instruments at the National Coal Mining Museum

Mythical maze craft activities from 2pm until 3pm at Airedale Library (booking needed) and Castleford Forum Library and Museum (children aged over four, booking needed), from 2.30pm until 3.30pm at Featherstone Library (children aged five to 11, booking needed), from 2pm until 3.30pm at Wakefield Library (children aged five to 11, booking needed) and from 10.30am until 12pm at Stanley Library (children aged five to 11, booking needed)

Experience how soldiers shaped up for battle with activities, games and trails from 11am until 4pm at Nostell Priory

Unicorn craft activities from 10am at Normanton Library

Money through the ages and money inspired crafts from 10.30am until 12pm and 1pm until 2.30pm at Pontefract Castle (children aged five to 12, booking needed)

Children’s corner with books, colouring, games, dressing up and the labyrinth from 9am until 4pm at Wakefield Cathedral

Pet workshop at 2pm at Pets at Home Wakefield
