Accidents cause major delays on Doncaster Road

A lorry is blocking the road close to the Redbeck Motel, in Crofton, after it struck the railway bridge just before 2pm.

Police said one lane was reopened by 2.10pm.

And another accident, close to the Wildcats’ stadium , at Belle Vue is also causing delays.

The second incident happened just before 2.30pm.

Motorists can expect long delays.

And Arriva said there would be delays to the 149, 150 and 496 services.
