Fire at village social club
Firefighters attended a blaze at a village working men’s club last night.
The fire was in the roof of a social club, on Harewood Lane, Upton.
Crews from South Elmsall, Hemsworth, Pontefract and Wakefield were called at 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday).
Nobody was reported to be injured.
