Lorry hits bridge on Doncaster Road

Bus services were disrupted after a lorry hit a bridge.

The trailer of a lorry was badly damaged after it hit the railway bridge, close to The Redbeck Cafe, on Doncaster Road, in Crofton just after 10.30am on Monday.

Arriva tweeted that all 149/150 services and the 496 services were being diverted.

West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit were called to the scene.
