Major delays in Ossett this morning due to emergency repairs
There are major delays on the roads in Wakefield this morning due to emergency road repairs.
The A638 Wakefield Road is closed both ways, causing queueing traffic.
Emergency repairs are being carried out between B6128 Leeds Road and M1 J40 (Ossett / Wakefield).
The works are causing congestion to the M1, with traffic backed up on on the M1 Northbound exit slip road and towards Lupset heading Westbound.
Traffic is backed up to Dewsbury Eastbound.
