Motorcyclist killed after smash with a lorry

A black Yamaha motorbike and a red lorry were involved in an incident on Whitehouse Lane, Great Preston, at 11.10am on Friday.

Charles Page, 43, from Great Preston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Ann Drury, of West Yorkshire Police’s Major Collision Enquiry Team, said: “We would urge anyone who witnessed the collision itself or believes they may have seen either of the vehicles involved immediately prior to the collision to call the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101.”
