Search for driver after crash in Thorpe Audlin
The driver of a car which left the road and rolled into a field could not be found after a search in the early hours of Saturday.
Fire crews who attended the crash at around 1.50am on the A639 in Thorpe Audlin found the Ford Fiesta on its side in a field after it rolled several times.
But the driver of the car, which had been travelling from Pontefract towards Thorpe Audlin, could not be found after a search of the area near the Fox and Hounds pub with thermal imaging equipment.
Police are investigating the incident.
