Teenage driver seriously injured in Ackworth road smash
A teenager suffered serious injuries during a road smash in Ackworth.
The 19-year-old , from Hemsworth, was driving a red Vauxhall Corsa which was involved in a collision with an orange Ford Focus ST, on Barnsley Road, at 9pm on Sunday.
The Ford Focus had been heading towards Pontefract and the Vauxhall Corsa was heading in the opposite direction.
The teenage driver was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
