These are the roads that Wakefield Council will be working on this week

The works taking place as as follows:

Emergency teams will respond to safety defects and potholes.

Gully cleansing teams will carry out maintenance and respond to complaints.

Public right of way maintenance work will take place.

Works are ongoing at Bruce Smeaton Way, Castleford, and Providence Street and Carter Street in Wakefield.

Drainage pipework repairs will take place on The Balk, Walton, Aberford Road, Stanley and, Gagewell View, Horbury.

Repairs to Lawns Lane were due to start Monday, September 14 and the bridlewaywill be closed during the work.

General maintenance will be carried out at the Arriva bus depot on Barnsley Road, Middlestown Medical Centre, Newfield Court, Normanton, Rose Avenue, Upton, and Mill Lane Ackworth.
