Mystery still surrounds the discovery of human remains found close to a nature reserve.
Officers were called to the Washlands Nature Reserve, close to Welbeck Lane, behind Eastmoor, at about 9.55am on Wednesday after a member of the public reported finding a number of small bones.
Police later said after examination that they thought the bones to be human.
And a full post mortem was carried out today but police said that the results were “inconclusive.”
The force said enquiries are ongoing.
