Urban fitness cycling class

UNFORTUNATELY I was taken unwell on the morning of the Prince of Wales Hospice cyclothon.

Nothing serious, just enough to make me unsafe on a bike!

Basically the problem was dizziness and a sick feeling, together with blocked sinuses.

There are medical words, which I cannot spell, that are often used to describe it. As I turn 60 this year I’ve decided that I’ll ride with the general group in future rides.

For anyone who may be interested there are vacancies on the ‘urban fitness’ class at Featherstone sports complex at 6pm on Wednesday evenings.

A 55-minute outdoor class, it uses a mix of manuafactured and improvised equipment plus the terrain of the school sports field, which is anything but flat!

It is only cancelled when the ground is snow-covered or frozen.

All abilities are welcome at this council-organised class.
