VIDEO: Detectives launch fresh appeal to solve murder of Elsie Frost
Elsie Frost, 14, was murdered on a towpath near the Calder and Hebble Canal in October 1965.
Officers investigating the case are appealing for information to identify a previously unknown man in a white coat on a bicycle who was seen near the murder scene on the afternoon she died.

Hide AdSpeaking at the scene on Friday, Det Chf Insp Elizabeth Belton, who is leading the reinvestigation. said: “This was a vicious and brutal attack on a young innocent girl.
“It is important that I appeal to the public because the people of Wakefield still remember the murder.
“People will have some information that will help us with our enquiries.”
