Thousands of women were dressed up to the nines for the social highlight of the annual St Leger Festival.
Over 16,000 people travelled to Town Moor in their finest ensembles for Ladies’ Day at Doncaster racecourse yesterday.
The hotly contested best-dressed competition is always one of the highlights of the annual event - which this year was won by Kirsty Booth, of Bessacarr.
The 26-year-old donned a stylish monochrome two-piece with black and white striped detailing on the top, teamed with a striking black hatinator and elegant white shoes.
A trip for two to New York courtesy of DFS was among Kirsty’s haul of prizes, as was an overnight stay for two in an executive suite with full Yorkshire breakfast at the Crown Hotel, Bawtry and one year’s premier Membership courtesy of Nuffield Health Doncaster.
The annual event is the ultimate in glitz and glamour and one of South Yorkshire’s biggest social occasions.
