Video showing difference between healthy lung and smoker's lung revealed
The video, posted on Facebook by nurse, Amanda Eller, shows a set of red-coloured healthy lungs being compared with those of a smoker has been shared over 500,000 times.
On one side of the footage, viewers can see a pair of healthy lungs of someone who has never smoked, inflating and deflating as normal.

Hide AdOn the other side, a pair of black, larger set that belonged to someone who smoked a packet of cigarettes a day for 10 years, are shown not being able to inflate properly.
Every year, the NHS states that around 100,000 people in the UK die from smoking.
