VIDEO: Wakefield Wildcat Dolls chosen for Rugby League World Cup 2013 cheerleading squad

Eight cheerleaders have been called up to support the international teams during the Rugby League World Cup.

The young women, who are members of Wakefield Wildcat Dolls, will provide entertainment during matches when the tournament comes to England and Wales next month.

They were selected after auditions earlier this year and will join 27 other dancers from other Super League teams.

As well as cheering on the England team during all their games, the women will provide support during the quarter finals, semi finals and final at Old Trafford, in Manchester.

The Wildcat Dolls members include Claire Hamnett, of Sandal, Emily Ritchie, of Outwood, Jade Botterill, of Normanton, and Michelle Eadie, of Sharlston.

They will be joined by Hannah Clarke, of Castleford, Gemma Moxon and Chloe Trevelyan, of Pontefract, and Amber Wilson, of Leeds.

And former Dolls coach Sarah Elston will be making sure they are on form as Rugby League World Cup cheerleading coordinator.
