The vintage group, featuring founder and producer Katie Ashby from Wakefield, received the seal of approval from all four judges on ITV show Britain’s Got Talent.

The group specialises in songs from the era of the Second World War and fundraises for the Royal British Legion.

It has raised a total of around £40,000 for the cause.

The D-Day Darlings will appear in the next round of Britain Got Talent.
