Wakefield Council wants you to love your parks

Wakefield Council is encouraging people to visit and celebrate the district’s parks and green spaces during Love Parks Week.

During the week people are invited to take part in activities in the city’s parks including health walks, bike rides, pond dipping, children’s activity sessions, family fun days and free play sessions.

Love Parks Week is a national campaign which aims to raise awareness of the importance of parks, showcasing the benefits they bring.
