Wakefield Little Theatre takes to the stage with Brassed Off
A production of Brassed Off will pipe up at Wakefield Theatre Royal from tonight (Tuesday).
The Wakefield Little Theatre production, which features Horbury Victoria Band, will run from November 10 to 14 from 7.30pm at the Theatre Royal on Westgate.
A spokesman for the group said: “Brassed Off is the story of the struggle of a small Yorkshire mining community to maintain dignity and hope when the heart is torn out by the government’s pit closure programme. It is a triumph of music and the human spirit over hardship and despair.
Tickets range from £10 to £13.
