Forecasters say we're in for a mixture of dry spells and showers this week, but by Friday there will be glorious sunshine with temperatures reaching highs of 30C.

Temperatures will begin to rise tomorrow with forecasts of 24C, gradually cooling over the weekend with thunderstorms and showers expected on Monday.

Starting off cloudy with a few spots of rain. Cloud and any rain will clear throughout the day leaving Thursday dry with lots of sunshine.

Dry, mainly sunny and hot on Friday. Forecasters haven't ruled out the odd thunderstorm.

Saturday and Sunday will see sunny spells for most, but much cooler with the odd shower.
