He recorded a cover of Frank Sinatra’s Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas for the album.

He said: “I chose the song Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas because it’s one of my favourite songs and I think it suits my voice.

“I hope a lot of people buy the album so we can raise as much money as possible for the charity.”

The group of musicians recorded the 10-track Christmas album which was produced by talent scout and film producer Dean Maynard under the Team Midas label.
And it will raise money for The Teenage Cancer Trust.

The CD is also available as a virtual download on iTunes.

Other artists appearing on the charity album include former Teen Star contestant Channy Thompson, X-Factor 2012 contestant Charley Monroe and former Britain’s Got Talent singer Micky Dumoulin.

Mr Maynard said: “This album not only features new takes on many of the classics like Silent Night and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, it also has new original tracks that, in time, could become real festive favourites.

“Every penny from sales of the album are going to The Teenage Cancer Trust, so we hope the public get behind us and make the album top of their Christmas list.”
