Hospital parking charges could be cheaper

I recently had the unfortunate need to visit Pinderfields Hospital, the parking charges are astronomical.

I made daily visits for several weeks.

The parking charges are published on entry and exit but the concessionary parking for people visiting over long periods are not displayed.

To get cheaper parking you need to go to the main admin office, then the parking office , both are only open from Monday to Friday, closing at 5pm.

The hospital staff claim it’s nothing to do with them, so it must be the responsibilty of Balfour Beattie.

When I asked about parking costs I was offered one day at £1.30 and one week at £6.70.What a difference it makes.
