TOWNVILLE cricketer Tim Bresnan has arrived in Dubai hoping to play a part in England’s one-day series against Pakistan, having undergone fitness tests in Yorkshire on the elbow injury which ruled him out of the Test series.
England hope the the Yorkshire all-rounder (pictured) will be available for four one-day internationals and three Twenty20s against Pakistan, starting next Monday.
Seam bowler Bresnan was originally named in the Test squad but was ruled out of the series before the opening clash in Dubai.
Bresnan said on his Twitter account: “Just got to Dubai and had a swim. Got the journey out of my legs as they say. Heading to the ground after a feed to spur on the boys.”
