STREETHOUSE take on Stainborough in the Pontefract League’s Dyson-Skidmore Trophy final at Ackworth on Sunday, August 7.

Streethouse repeated Saturday’s league victory against Ackworth when the teams meet again the next day in the semi-final at Whinney Lane.

Bruce Percy (89), Jonathan Hughes (51) and Richard Vigars (32) steered Streethouse to 235-4.

Martin Rhodes (5-43) restricted cup holders Ackworth’s reply to 182-9.

Chris O’Grady (64) and Tom Martindale (44no) led Ackworth’s scoring.

Division Two leaders Stainborough won by seven wickets at Old sharlston.

Phil Archer (3-23) and Anthony Clark (3-13) bowled out Sharlston for 157, despite Wayne Walker’s battling 47 and Ryan Kelsall’s 24.

Tom Atkinson finished unbeaten on 81 and Josh Abson strruck 35 as Stainborough knocked off the runs.

Yorkshire Main and Thurnscoe Institute meet in the Farmery Florist Trophy final at Hooton Pagnell this Sunday (2pm).

Ackworth A failed in their bid to reach the final when they lost by 90 runs at Yorkshire Main in last Sunday’s semi-final.

Scott Sykes (67), Kieran Lumley (48) and Steve Hodgetts (40no) steered Main to 230-7.

Kevin Booth (3-39) and Fred Gunthorpe (2-22) were Ackworth’s best bowlers.

Jack Willis’s unbeaten 40 and Booth’s 31 were in vain for Ackworth who were bowled out for 140 in reply.
