Fairburn reached the Pontefract Cricket League’s Dyson-Skidmore Trophy quarterfinals with Sunday’s 61 run win against Knottingley.
Guy Abdy (68), his brother Jake (54), Danny Murray (45) and James Clegg (42) led Fairburn’s scoring as they raced to 253-7.
In reply, Knottingley were all out for 192, despite the efforts of Paul Barnes (49) and Edward Wilson (35).
Johannes Van Ee hit 10 sixes in an unbeaten 143 as Streethouse piled up 284-3 against neighbours Old Sharlston who were dismissed for 138.
A 110-run stand between Connor Fisher (77no) and Gary Proudley (58) guided trophy holders Brook-Walton to a seven-wicket win at West Bretton, for whom Tom Clifford struck 67.
Danny Bridges and Dave Harris each hit 38 to steer Ackworth to a seven-wicket victory over Hemsworth who were toppled for 128 by Kieran McIntyre (5-27) and Dean Matthews (3-16).
Sam Lodge’s 114 was the highlight of Whitley Bridge’s 77-run success at Frickley Colliery.
