Capital One Cup: Leeds United drawn at home against Chesterfield in first round

The draw for the 2013/14 competition took place on Monday morning with all Football League clubs except Reading and Wigan Athletic in the hat.

And the Whites have been handed a favourable draw, at Elland Road and against League Two opposition in the Spireites.

Huddersfield Town will host derby rivals and last year’s shock finalists Bradford City at the John Smith’s Stadium, while Barnsley will welcome Scunthorpe United to Oakwell.

The matches will take place in the week commencing Monday, August 5.
