Pontefract Collieries are due to return to action tonight at Albion Sports, but after another postponement last weekend they face at least 16 more matches by the end of April.
Colls are back at home this Saturday when Barton Town are the visitors to the Harratts Nissan Stadium and they face a short journey to play near neighbours Hemsworth MW next Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).
With only eight weeks to the end of the campaign there is no respite for Ponte as they aim for the Premier Division crown and promotion to the Evo-Stik League. They are also through to the last 16 of the NCE League Cup when they have been drawn away to either Selby Town or Shirebrook Town with the tie due to be played on Thursday, March 29.
The cup match comes in the busiest week for Collieries as they are down to play four games in eight days in the week leading up to Easter.
They are still well placed to achieve their league title aim. With no games possible in the Premier last Saturday Ponte stay 13 points behind leaders AFC Mansfield with seven games in hand.
The two title rivals were due to meet at Mansfield last Saturday, but the game has now been rearranged for the last week of the season on Tuesday, April 24.
Recent Colls recruit Aaron Moxam, meanwhile, finished second in the voting for the NCE Premier Division player of the month for February while Colls were also runners-up in the Premier team of the month.
