Leeds United announce pre-season fixture plans

Leeds United have confirmed pre-season plans with several friendly games arranged in July in the build-up to the next Championship campaign.

The squad will report back to Thorp Arch from their summer break on Thursday, June 27 and will play their first match against local side Farsley AFC at Throstle Nest on Saturday, July 6 (3pm).

The following Monday will see United set off for a 10-day trip to Slovenia where they will have a training base and play against three local sides.

The opponents for two of the three matches in Slovenia are still to be confirmed, but United will be playing FC Domzale on Saturday, July 13 (7.45pm) at the Domzale Sports Park.

The dates are confirmed for the two remaining fixtures in Slovenia as Wednesday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 16 and both matches will be held at the FC Mura Stadium with 6.30pm kick-offs.

On returning from Slovenia, the players will face an away trip to the Banks Stadium to face League One side Walsall on Saturday, July 20 (3pm) before a midweek trip south to face more League One opposition in Stevenage FC (7.45pm) on Tuesday, July 23.

The Whites will complete their pre-season schedule with their one game at Elland Road when they host Bundesliga side FC Nurnberg on Saturday July, 27 (3pm).
