Leeds United drawn at home to Rotherham in FA Cup

Leeds United have been given the chance of quick revenge for their recent defeat to Rotherham United after being drawn out at home to the Millers in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The tie is set to take place at Elland Road over the weekend of January 8 to 11.

It will give Leeds the opportunity to end a long run without a home win over Rotherham as they have not beaten them in four meetings at Elland Road since the 1963-64 season.

The clubs have never met in the FA Cup, but Leeds did beat the Millers in a League Cup tie in 2005 and were knocked out by them in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in 2008.

The third round tie is likely to bring manager Neil Redfearn back to Elland Road after he celebrated his first win as Rotherham boss at the ground last month. All eyes will be on whether he gets a car park pass this time!
