USA international winger Robbie Rogers will join Leeds United on a permanent contract subject to him securing a work permit.
United have ageed a deal to sign the 24-year-old who has been on trial at Elland Road.
Rogers has made more than 100 appearances for MLS team Columbus Crew.
Leeds manager Simon Grayson (pictured) told the club’s official website: “He’s been playing in the MLS where he has done well, he wants to continue his career in Europe, and we believe he will make an impact here.
“As soon as the work permit business is complete he will be an immediate part of our plans and have an opportunity with the first team.”
