U8s football club back to training - with new kit thanks to Jack's supermarket

After a long break, the boys of Thorpe Giants football club in Wakefield have now been able to start training together again.

Thanks to local sponsors, Jack's Supermarket, on Ings Road, they can enjoy the new, long awaited, season in their new kits.

Michael Ward, store manager at Jack's Wakefield, said: "We're committed to developing our relationship with the local community throughout 2020 by supporting more initiatives, sponsoring football teams is just one of the many ways we've been helping the community of Wakefield.

Andy Bleasby, Thorpe Giants U8's Team Manager, said: "The sponsorship from Jacks Supermarket has allowed us to provide match day kits and training jackets for our U8's team.
