Players at NCE Premier Division club Glasshoughton Welfare are back in training and are set to play their first pre-season games this month.
Welfare kick-off their preparation matches with a first friendly away against Silsden on Tuesday, July 16 (7.30pm).
They then face another away game at Billingham Synthonia on Saturday, July 20 (3pm), before first home matches when entertaining Harrogate Railway on Tuesday, July 23 (7.30pm) and Lincoln United on Saturday, July 27 (3pm). Ossett Town are the visitors to Leeds Road on Tuesday, July 30 (7.30pm).
Preparations go on into next month with friendlies at Boroughbridge on Thursday, August 1 (7pm) and at CGB Humbertherm on Saturday, August 3 (3pm).
Welfare have been drawn at home to Tadcaster Albion in the first round of the NCE League Cup. They are set for a long season with 24 teams in the Premier this time and 46 league fixtures to play.
