Hannah makes memorable county debut

Sixteen-year- old Townville cricketer Hannah Poulter made her Yorkshire Ladies first-team debut on Sunday in a one-day County Championship game at Harrogate.

Although Yorkshire lost by 152 runs, wicket-keeper Hannah capped a memorable match by stumping ex England captain Charlotte Edwards.

Kent’s line-up featured several other past and present international players including Tammy Beaumont, Lydia Greenaway, Tash Farrant and Suzie Bates.

Top order batsman Hannah is also involved in the England development programme and is the vice-captain of Yorkshire under 17s girls this season.

She plays her ladies club cricket at Wrenthorpe Ladies who play in the ECB Northern Premier League.

At the halfway stage of the season, Wrenthorpe are currently in second place, just two points behind leaders Saxton Ladies.

Hannah is a multi-talented sportswoman.

She has also made her first team debut for Leeds United Ladies this season.
